Jose Thomas

Rugby being his main passion, Jose became a dual Fijian international in both rugby union 15 a side and touch rugby. Having played professionally in the UK, Jose understands the mental and physical demands on the modern athlete.

In 2006, he was regional Strength & Conditioning coach for the world cup winning New Zealand Black Ferns (Women's Rugby), while also head of S&C at the Auckland Rugby Referees Association.

David Batty

"Victory blongs to the most persevering"

David represented the ACT in rugby union as a junior and also competed in boxing at a state level. After 6 years in the Australian Federal Police, David pursued his interest of personal training in Melbourne.

David has worked with a large range of athletes from Australian representatives (women’s volleyball, national champion water skier) to international golfers; state level athletics (100, 200, 400m and Stawell Gift competitors) as well as club level rugby players.

Jehan Abeysekera

"Champions aren't born, they're made"

Jehan has experienced a long run of success playing rugby in premiership winning school and club teams, as well as receiving a black belt in Taewkondo, Green belt in Capoeira, and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai.

Currently studying a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Bachelor of Business (Sport Management) at Deakin University, Jehan has been working in personal training and group fitness. Jehan has worked with a diverse range of athletes ranging from elite runners to state level kickboxers.

Nicholas Garcia

Having played and captained at state level basketball, touch footy and oztag, Nick enjoys playing all types of sports. Nick knows what it takes to lead a championship winning team and set the standard as a player on and off the field.

Presently, Nick is studying a bachelor of exercise and sport science and works as an athlete performance coach training national level rowers, state level triathletes, netballers, tennis players and Australian rules players. Nick's passion lies in developing the young athlete by prolonging their playing longevity and maximising their physical potential with the use of strength and conditioning training.
